Kind Mind
Kind Mind is designed to bring mental health awareness as well as resources to college students. It was created to show that we are not alone. Even anonymously, we can relate to and understand each other’s struggles.
My Concept
The goal is to show that other people understand the good and the bad that we go through, and it’s okay to talk about it, or to ask for help. This is a reminder to be kind to your own mind. I created a social experiment to allow students the platform to anonymously interact and react to each other and all of their emotions (whether happy, sad, or anywhere in-between). The process started with running a stand and allowing students to anonymously answer questions on cards I designed. I then took the cards and information from them and created an interactive exhibit for students to read each other's responses and react to them. For my final piece of my Capstone project, I created a book to show my journey of research to the final exhibit.
